According to a number of reports, including ESPN, Chelsea goalkeeper has completed a medical today ahead of his proposed move to the Gunners from West London.
Earlier in the day reliable BBC reporter David Ornstein confirmed that the Czech stopper would undergo a medical today and also stated that both a fee and personal terms had been agreed between the two clubs.

Now reports from ESPN suggest that Cech has had that medical and is edging ever closer to becoming an Arsenal player. It seems only a matter of time before the 33 year old finally puts pen to paper on a deal with the Gunners as they look to add a world class goalkeeper to their ranks to give them a solid base to build on for the coming season.
Cech is something of a coup for Arsene Wenger who will be delighted to get one over on long term rival Jose Mourinho who has been publicly resistant to a move to Arsenal or any other competitive club. However, it seems Roman Abramovich has had the final say and overruled the Portugese and allowed Cech to move to the place he desires.
It is believed that the 33 year old has formally agreed to sign a deal worth £1o0,000 a week with Arsenal which would place him amongst the top earners in the Gunners ranks. Gunners fans will be pleased if Wenger is able to secure a quality player relatively early in the window by the Frenchman’s last gasp standards, also, they can look forward to seeing his likely debut against Chelsea in the Community Shield pre season.
