According to French journalist Francois Piraux Arsenal have managed to secure the signature of Ivorian youngster Serge Aurier, the Gunners have been tracking the in demand defender for some time an if reports are to believed it seems Arsene Wenger has got his man.
The young Ivorian is only 21 years old but has been rated as one of the best young players in France by French football weekly, he is a versatile defender that naturally occupies the right back position although if required is capable of performing in a more central defensive role. If Francois Piraux is to be believed Arsenal will have done well to beat off a lot of competition for the exciting youngster, with giants PSG, Monaco, Man City, Chelsea and AC Milan all having been reportedly vying for his signature.

It is certainly an exciting proposition as it is vitally important that we replace Sagna with a talented player capable of filling the experienced right back’s shoes. The fact that the Ivorian is a self confessed Arsenal fan could play a huge part in his final decision and although it will be sad to see Sagna go it will be reassuring to know he has been adequately replaced.
