Thanks to a series of injuries and suspensions to Ramsey, Walcott, Wilshere and possible Cazorla the Gunners are looking short on fire-power, although one name has made a reappearance in the news which is an exciting prospect for Arsenal fans around the world.
Benfica starlet Rodrigo has been attracting attention all over Europe as the Brazil born Spaniard continues to light up the Portuguese league with a total of 23 goals in 35 appearances for the Eagles. It is reported that Arsene Wenger would consider an initial loan offer which would include an option to buy at the end of the spell should the Spaniard sufficiently impress although Arsenal officials have not ruled out buying the player outright despite the fact that it would command a £37m outlay. The versatile 22 year old is blessed with speed, vision and a fantastic finish and could be just what Arsenal need for what is sure to be a testing run in towards the end of the season.
What do you think? Do you think that Rodrigo could add something different to our attack? Is he worth the £37m required to activate his release clause? Let us know below.[polldaddy poll=7755657]
